For me the case has been more about spam vs real comment ratio. I had very few comments/trackbacks. Comments and Trackbacks menuitems just took more space then they deserved. If the blog is becoming more popular and gets more comments then I might restore this :)

I have moderated comments so no spam ever actually appeared on site. Most of these spam comments are test-comments to see if these comments get to the site automatically.</description>
